We’re happy to welcome Ugne Potthoff as our newest PhD candidate and doctoral researcher to join the Bosch IoT Lab. Ugne is a member of the ETH Zurich team.

Her research interests focus on analytics and machine learning for heat pump optimization. Originally from Lithuania, Ugne holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Production Engineering from RWTH Aachen and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University. During her studies, she worked on various IoT-focused projects. She gained further practical experience at the automotive electronics manufacturing company Hella working as a manufacturing engineer.
